They Got You Buying All These Products… For Something That Cleans Itself

You think you need all these products to stay “fresh”, whole time your body already handles that.

This one really exposed how much people been influenced by marketing because the way women be asking what products they need “down there” you would think it’s some complicated routine, like you gotta maintain it the same way you do your face or your hair, when in reality most people that actually been through trial and error are saying the same thing over and over, you don’t need all that, and a lot of those products be doing more harm than good.

Like people really came in and said straight up, water is enough, maybe a simple soap on the outside, cotton underwear, let it breathe, and that’s it, no fancy washes, no perfumes, no extra steps, because the body already knows how to clean itself, and once you start interfering too much, that’s when things start getting off balance.

And what’s crazy is a lot of women admitted they used to overdo it, scrubbing, trying different products, thinking they needed to smell like something artificial all the time, and all it did was irritate their skin, throw off their pH, and create problems they didn’t even have before, and once they stopped doing all that and kept it simple, everything started calming down.

That’s the part nobody teaches you, because the industry makes money off making you feel like something is wrong with you, like you need to be “extra clean,” “extra fresh,” like your natural body is not enough, and people fall into that because nobody really explains what normal is supposed to be, so you end up chasing a standard that’s not even realistic.

Some people even pointed out something that hits if you really think about it, men are not out here being told to use special products for their body parts, nobody is telling them they need scented washes or pH balancing routines, but women get targeted heavy with that messaging, and it makes you question why.

And then there’s the whole “odor” conversation that makes people panic, because any slight change and people think something is wrong, when in reality your body is not supposed to smell like soap or flowers, it’s supposed to smell like you, just clean, not artificial, and if something actually is off, that’s when you go see a doctor, not start throwing random products at it hoping something works.

There was also people saying yeah, certain things can help in specific situations, like medical treatments, or certain products when something is actually off, but that’s not everyday hygiene, that’s handling a situation, and people be confusing those two things and turning it into a daily routine when it doesn’t need to be.

And once you really understand that, it changes how you move, because you stop feeling like you gotta constantly fix something, you stop buying unnecessary stuff, and you just focus on keeping things clean and simple without overthinking it.

At the end of the day your body is not complicated like they make it seem, it’s actually simple, it’s just that people got used to doing the most because they were told they had to, and once you unlearn that, you realize you never needed half of that stuff in the first place.
